Mass held at the BFP-NHQ for the
birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary

A Eucharistic Celebration was held in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on September 8, 2011 at the Bureau of Fire Protection National Headquarters in Quezon City sponsored by the officers and men of the Command Group, BFP-NHQ.
To start the celebration, a rosary was recited. The mass immediately followed which was participated in by the BFP personnel and was officiated by its Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Randy Baluso.
Part of the celebration was the offering of flowers to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Said mass was also offered for the personal intentions of the officers and personnel of the BFP who joined the celebration, and to those who are in need of prayer.
Through Fr. Baluso, the attendees who are celebrating their birthday as well as those celebrating their wedding anniversary for the month of September were given the chance to receive personal blessing.
Every year, BFP conducts spiritual activities such as Novena and Holy Mass to commemorate special religious events. The celebration of the birthday of Mama Mary is one of the special events awaited by the BFP personnel, which majority are Roman Catholics.
BFP continues to practice and support religious activities of the Catholic Church inside its organization to enrich the moral values and uphold the spiritual life of its personnel.//
