Commemorative Car Plates out for
BFP’s 20th Anniversary

Looking forward to the celebration of its two decades of existence on August 2, the Bureau of Fire Protection’s (BFP) commemorative car plates designed for the agency’s 20th anniversary is now available.
Car plates approved and authorized by the Land Transportation Office and the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) can be purchased by BFP personnel or by any interested civilians. It should be superimposed over the regular front vehicle plate. The commemorative conduction sticker should be placed on the front windshield. A certification of authorization (CA) and a copy of the LTO Certificate of Registration (CR) and Official Receipt (OR) will also be given to the subscriber. It is reminded that said documents must be retained inside the vehicle at all times. The licensed car plate is non-transferable and it must be attached only to the vehicle applied for the plate.
Being exempted to the number coding scheme is one advantage of acquiring the BFP licensed car plates. Thus, subscriber is advised to comply with its terms and conditions, and to obey the traffic rules and regulations to protect the name as well as the image of the BFP. The car plates is valid until December 31, 2012.
The launching of the BFP commemorative licensed car plates is a project of the Philippine National Police Academy Alumni Association, Inc. (PNPAAAI) BFP Chapter Officers. Part of the proceeds shall be utilized for BFP public information projects.
